I've also looked in the .mix as well

ob_tile3
yellow_light3
razorw
arid_sandpc02
arid_sandpc01
li_1_pur2
pwr_emisv_light01
arid_wooda01
rep_glow
all of them should be .tga

And Arid well perhaps in C&C_Arid.mix....
You do know that the textures are stored as .dds right?

these are textures for the buildings in 3ds max, It only loads .tga that I'm aware of, and those are not in my always.dat I looked for all of them

hdn_globe.dds is the texture you search for
same for the other textures
models are .w3ds
youre searching the models combined with the textures wish i could tell you more but im a morron on there hope someone else helps you
also i think youll need a plugin to be able to work with 3ds max for renegade as i doubt w3d is a common used model type

Ya I got my 3ds with the importer amd exporter of w3d
I would like to have that mod that someo.e did to make it look like renx, last time I had that zunnie gave it to me but I havent been able to fi.d it
And I didnt know xcc did that on the spot lol gonna try that.
