It was discussed by the server owners, most of whom have been affected by the attacks.

Whatever other nonsense you're spewing about me is an utter lie and you're just trying to change the subject.

I offered to host the server/community as an alternative so that the players would still have some place to go. I'm open to other options as well so long as those options mean Wilost0rm is no longer at the helm or in control of it in any way. The other server owners are in agreement that if he steps down, the ban will be lifted.

It's funny a few of those same "owners" have ddos'd as well.

I was making an example with you. I seen the proof back then, as well as a whole community seen it.

I get along with people fine, so long as they aren't rejects who promised things that they couldn't
deliver on, or forum trolls who contribute nothing except to bloat the fragile egos of the same
rejects I despise.

You keep confusing written words for spoken language. Perhaps you should check with a doctor and find out if it's normal to have eyeballs in your mouth.

if you do host a st0rm alternative perhaps consider using the classic st0rm settings
Wilo removed all of them without warning one day and replaced them with a consensus of what RenForums people said in a topic on RenForums

still don't understand why he basically shit on all of st0rm with that move and i think they might miss how things were

based on what i've seen over the years there will always be some players that need training wheels
that wasn't why i think people liked it; it's because it was something different
when you stepped into a st0rm server you knew something was up

one of the aow modes had a ctf mode built in; a team could win by capturing the flag via the tunnels or by regular base destruction / time limit
on Hourglass the flags spawned in the tunnel entrances of each base

a lot of the things on there had interesting potential
were i to do it i'd change a few things, but everyone can say the same
in my eyes the turrets at one point were excessive and i'll never forget them

I always hated the st0rm modification it was out of control.
I like stock renegade and that's what I will always like.
Many people appealed to the st0rm mod because it was different.

This ban from XWIS was more than deserved for st0rm. Hands down.

They have a petition going stating that this is affecting "hundreds" of their players. For one they don't even have that. And two, what happened to all of the players at Jelly and the other servers that couldn't play a game because the servers constantly went down? Think that the crashing of the servers didn't affect them?

Anyhow, st0rm has basically been dead all day. I'm pretty sure that if Wilo were to leave st0rm to some other dedicated members (which a good handful of people already have left) then some people would return and get things going again. But, I don't see Wilo leaving st0rm (at least the Renegade section) to anyone else but himself.

No TieSTo's please.

I was under the impression Wilo did not act entirely alone, there has been rumors floating around that several of his staff were either aware of the flooding or were helping with it themselves.

I know that at least one other person knew of him abusing various things in the community war.

@MDK, I see no reason why you would be supporting Wilo. He was the one who staged your hacking events in other servers to get you banned.

No, that's not my main goal. My main goal was the address the issues with the players having to suffer for Wilo's lawbreaking activities. I don't care who takes it over, he just needs to step down if the server is to be unbanned. I just offered to do it as a suggestion. I barely have enough time for my own servers (luckily I have some awesome admins to take care of the day-to-day), there's NO WAY I have time to screw around with the way st0rm's servers would be run. I just happen to have the extra income to fill in any gaps that donations don't cover.

so who was/is involved in all of this bullshit besides Wilo? Shouldn't the people who knew that this phenomena was happening but never spoke up be partly at fault as well?

I'm not sure if anyone else was actually performing attacks, but from what I've heard from several sources, there were multiple people/admins/staff who knew about it. I don't see a need to go on a witch hunt and try to figure out exactly who did and didn't know. I'm more concerned with who DID things.

I'm the bawss.

There was nothing "staged", he cheated up a storm(bad pun).

Its so simple, Wilo steps down and the community can continue on.
Wilo chooses selfishly to stay where he is and he kills his own community essentially.

If he cares about his community he will do what is best for it. If he is selfish and too full of himself, then storm dies.
