i havent been on these forums since 2006 lol and havent played since around the same time as something went wrong with my disk or computer is renegade still going and the same as back then might have to go and purchase the game again please advise

Yes sir it is indeed still going.
There's roughly 200-300 active players left.
n00bstories, Jelly and st0rm usually have players in their servers.
