Thanks for reply, but I do want the 4 monitors thats why I am willing to pay for it, it seems to have all the high in specs but supports four monitors, and then id sell my gtx or does this not support 4 moniters and i am wrong?

I'd think three screens is better for gaming. That's been my experience. I'm not entirely sure Eyefinity or nVidia Surround would work over four monitors.

Honestly I do not plan on having the game run on all four screens, I only need it to run on my TV, the four monitors is simply for my multitasking needs

There isn't really much point in selling a graphics card such as the 460
1. You probably won't get a good price for it
2. Its already a future proof graphics card, I'm guessing you can play most if not all games in high quality, as long as you aren't running super resolutions?
http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html Shows the comparison between benchmarks for different cards, without even having to scroll both the cards listed there are near the top, granted the Radeon 6950 is way closer to the top, but still the 460 is high up in the "High end GPUs chart".
I have a GTX 285 OC Edition which is just below the 460 SE and I can run anything, so no reason why you cant and probably shouldn't sell.
I was just thinking, another option could be to get a second 460 and run in SLI, however, even if you are running SLI, apparently it doesn't mean you can add more monitors to it

What you could do I supposed is either run a monitor off your integrated graphics if you have any, or get a crap graphics card that you wont assign to any gaming use, and just connect monitors into that, might have to google that to see if it works, Im sure the diagrams on the slizone website are suggesting its possible though.
However this all depends anyway if your motherboard has another PCI-E Slot, newer motherboards tend to anyways

It appears you'll need two of those 6950's for Quad-monitor support anyways.
I'd think you'd be better off getting monitors with a higher resolution instead of running four.
What resolution(s) are your current monitors? If they're below 1920x1080, getting two newer screens may be a better idea.

Why a TV instead of a monitor? Just curious.
What you should do, is just SLI that GTX 460 with another one.
I think I recall telling you about the 'SLI Patch' that you can use on AMD chipsets. The installation process is easy, and I've yet to have issues on my 790FX board with two GTX470's.
Why not pick up a cheap or used GTX460, and implement the patch? You'll get gaming performance comparable to the 6950, and you can run multiple-monitors for both gaming, and productivity.

This is true, but I jsut heard ghost story's about it, so eh I mean I never had anything outside nvidia, I am kinda interested in seeing how it runs  , also i realy dont have room for two cards, I mean I do but it will mess up the airflow badly

Nikki already mentioned it, but the AMD cards only support 3 monitors per card (or 6 if it's the 6 mini display port version). For the record, eyefinity/surround is awesome.

Would airflow really be impacted? You have an 890FX board with decent spacing between the PCIe slots, and a modern case. Given that the 460's don't run too hot, I don't foresee any terrible issues. But you know your system better than I do.
If you get the 6950, you'll likely need to buy a second one anyway.

Thanks for the help, but I already bought the other one, and the airflow in my pc is because the powersupply is on the bottom blowing up, while vid card blows down, i have to use to back blowers to get the air out.
EDIT: also any dual cards, and new case, psu, and moniters will have to be later, time to start saving up for a car so I wont be able to invest into my pc untill basically all the new shit comes out (vid cards, ram etc)

I've also never heard of a video card that blows air down or a psu that blows air into the case. Both parts suck air in and blow it out the back. Some video cards blow air on to themselves and don't really have a vent function, all of the non-EE versions of a GTX 460 are like this. The EE (External exhaust) versions blow out air out the back.

LEt me fix my mistake, it was my older card that blow air down =/, but ya i dont mind having three screens, and I ordered the adapter for the display port this morning, and I am using my new tv as my third (middle moniter) which I play bf3 on the highest settings and highest res. it runs awesome!
