I have a Logitech G19.

Tried first time to program some macro's for the G-Keys.
No success.

Seems to be a problem with either Renegade or (intentioned ?) with the TT-Patch...

In Windows the Macro's work well, but in Renegade it's impossible to record a quick macro.

And the manually recorded macros don't work properly.

So, is TT blocking keyboard macro's?

Not intentionally, but it isn't something that has high priority to fix.

I thought EA was going to shit all over the idea of the patch being forced if it didn't work as well as the original?

If so, wouldn't this have the same priority of anything else that used to work in Ren?

Pretty sure they don't consider keyboard macros a feature of renegade....

If you're here just to bash TT, please go somewhere else. I'm sure that you as a developer knows why some things are fixed sooner and others are fixed later.

Eitherway, Renegade will not be the same, it will have less bugs and specifically less serious bugs. This does NOT qualify as a serious bug. Blue hell to name one does.

I find it disheartening that some folks would bring up threats (empty one at that since I don't think EA gives 2 pieces of shit about this game) when they find the patch got rid of their favorite pet features.

"oh noes wheres my keyboard macros EA gonna shit all over patch and shut you down :D:D:D!!"

the eliminated bugs? the hot shits that disappeared overnight? 3 years worth of people's work during their free time? Does these not at all matter to you guys?

I completely understand that it is important to bring in concerns but to allude to some threat about EA refusing to force the patch just cos your pet feature isn't there for now? That is downright selfish and an insult to those who worked/working hard on this patch.

because it's the FIRST TIME EVER i tried to do some macros I simply asked, is it a standard bug of renegade or is it because of TT installation (intentioned or not)....

He wasn't referring to you, but to Jerad.
I also share his feelings.

If this was facebook, I would deffinately "like" your comment, lol.

You think every bug should have the same priority? Do I understand this right?
If so, why haven't you been busy fixing bugs lately? You're on the team as well. All I've heard you about was some plugin for clients. Not saying it's a bad idea, but there are more important things, like this bug...

Edit: After rereading 3 or 4 times I see what you mean Seye, not sure how I got it mixed it, because it seemed so weird.

No, I think you understood that all wrong, and that reborn was referring to Starbuzz's post.

Yes, it's a bug. No, it's not a high priority currently, since there are many things that are more critical at this moment. Simple as that. Smile

It was my fault, I should of quoted people properly and made it clear who I was addressing.

I was indeed sharing my disdain for Jerad's post.

Nice question mark. I would like to point out that your question has been answered, albeit indirectly. Something that would've been rather clear if you weren't just trying to troll here. It is possible that it will be fixed, it's just not a priority any time soon.

danpaul88 cleared it up for me, but thanks for trying to make the point even clearer.
