A meteor cannot be any larger than around 330 feet (about 100 megaton, which would be just large enough to destroy an area the size of a city like Tokyo), anything larger than this is an asteroid.
I've looked at that second one, and the only thing it said about it's size is that it's like a "Small mountain", now how the hell large is a "small mountain"?

oh and that asteroid heading for earth is small as a mountain so the damage would be smaller than the extingtion one that killed the dionosoures.

Like 95% of our electronics come from Japan, and alot of the cars come from Japan (or are at least they're Japanese owned). And don't forget all of those short people, we'd lose half of the worlds population of midgets! (j/k)
