Seeing as I haven't been on renegade since.. 2005 or so, I don't know if this is due to the status of the servers or if it's something on my end, but most servers on xwis are between 200-400 ping, with some as high as 800.
There isn't a single one below 200 anymore, is this normal?

Ping is still 150+ in game, which I usually only get when connecting to servers in asia or australia.
european servers are usually below 60, American servers are 50-80 (east coast) 120-140 (west coast)
But I suppose that's because of bad netcode/whatever, I'll deal with getting sniped behind walls again.

Err 200-220 ping is the norm for USA servers, scripts 4.0 calculates ping differently (the correct way) so it shaves off 50 from your ping, so you should get an average of 150 ping with 4.0.

200 ping is normal for me when connecting to servers in south east asia or south america, north america has never gone above 160.
But ah well, 180ish ping is bearable.
