2 sides with no aliens?? What show are you thinking of... Starship troopers only HAS two sides.. humans vs. aliens.

As for "guns" the melee bugs could just have melee damage, but like the movie, hgave much more HP/Armour. And if you get the chance, view the CGI Television series. They introuduce many new technologies and even more Aliens that you could use.

This is all pending the modder can get around the copywright infingement of course...
