In what? Renegade? Your FPS really is "capped" by the refresh rate of your monitor, but if you wanna try anyway, turn off Vertical Sync in Direct 3D.

Right click your desktop- Go to proporties-Settings tab-Advanced-Monitor tab then change the # of hz to a larger number.

Yeah with the vsync disabled you may get headaches and your FPS may vary from 0 to 500 something stupid like that. It is only a benefit if your getting 60 frames a second constantly. Also increasing your refresh will help.
Bare in mind that your eyes can't see images at 200fps and above which makes it pretty pointless.

Human eyes have an FPS of 20, or a little less. Our brain has some sort of prediction mechanism that fills the "empty holes" though, so it's hard to notice it.
There's a hole in the sky through which things can fly.

I think he is referring to XP limits the FPS to your Moniter Freq.
In the end it doesn't matter if you are who you say you are. You will still mean nothing to me.
When i have kids, everytime i drive past a fast food restaurant, im gonna punch my kid in the face, then they'll never wanna come..
