Lol I wouldn't get your hopes up. After all, there are people that pirate Valve games, too. I wouldn't be surprised if this get's a couple thousand downloads on the first day a crack is released.

The road I cruise is a bitch now, baby.

Yes there is, it's called waiting until you CAN buy it.

Three months of full-speed downloading + 100 blank DVDs = €50
One original PC game = €49.95

Let's say that I buy 100 PC games. That would cost me in total: €4995
Let's say that I download 100 PC games and burn them on DVD: €50

It's called logic.

If I can't 'afford' games, I just wait for a Steam or Direct2Drive sale. It doesn't take long until crazy prices begin to pop up.

But I think I'm going to buy two boxed copies. One for myself. The other one I can stuff down a random chick's throat in an appropriately masculine display of happiness for the King's return.

Do you think this game has jiggle logic?

Very important question as it will make or break my decision to buy this game.

It's called logic.

If game companies don't make a profit they die. If you refuse to support games that you enjoy, rooted in the (obviously) false premise that you cannot afford it, you deserve to never play an entertaining game. That and you're a fucking idiot.

At least it makes more sense than paying for your illegal downloads. If you want to be a pirate, be a real pirate.

Most private torrent trackers require you to seed up to a specific ratio, else your account will be deleted. Also, you rely completely on the amount of seeders, while with usenet you download straight from the newsservers (always at maximum speed).

So no, private torrent trackers are not better than usenet.

I'll stick with usenet, it's cheaper. Besides that, I'm not going to spend any money on a game which I will probably not play anymore after completing the campaign.
