I was playing the single player missions this morning, and was on the final level, "Stomping on Holy ground".
I entered a room where Kane starts talking about "How do you like my trophy? This is what happens to those who usurp my authority"
I didn't think much of it, as all I saw was a green, slender cylinder. Then I moved around the side, and you can clearly see a person inside the cylinder.
I personally think he looks like Seth, Kane's right hand man from Tiberian Dawn (C&C 95).
Any ideas?
I really miss Westwood's attention to detail in it's games. It's what has made this genre so appealing to millions around the globe.

Yes, it is Seth. When you walk up to the cylinder, Kane says something. I don't remember what it was though. I think it was something like "This is what happens when you don't obey me." It was something similar to that.

And for those who haven't played C&C 95, Seth was the right hand man who grew jelous of the player for doing so well, and drawing KANE'S praise. He keeps trying to send you on his personal missions to benefit himself, and Kane shoots him in the head for it. I just found it neat, considering how minor a charachter he was in the overall scheme of the rise of Nod.

I thought it was for trying to attack the pentagon
|
It was. He was trying for a power gambit. If he could defeat the U.S. the resulting power from that confusion would allow him to challenge Kane for leadership of Nod.

Seth is in the tank, he is being used to run nods ai
the web runner cars from nods ending in TD are on the top floor of temple at the far end behind a broken screen.
the large lump of rock seen being lifted out of the ground in both endings is inside a glass case half way through the level.

maytridy | Ohhh, THAT Seth! Didn't Kane shoot him in the head?
|
True, but one thing makes me wonder. I'm for 90% sure that the wound is on the wrong place.
In the movie, if I'm correct, you see Kane coming from the right, and shooting him, for the viewers right, in the left sight of the head. So way is the wound now on the right side of his head - for the viewers left.
Don't hold me on it, but this is the way I remember the movie piece.
Size doesn't matter.

bigejoe14 | Isn't the exit wound more violent then the entrance wound though? If so, the that skin would be correct.
|
True, but I don't see anything at the other side of his head. But it is hard to see anything trough the green tube, so I might have simpley missed it.

Renx | hence the blood on the side of his head.....
I always thought they were going to make hima playable character, bit I guess they left that out. Or mayebt hey modeled him for the nod campaign before it got canceled.
|
It isn't Seth. It's original General Raveshaw with Seth's face.

[A-I | NastyDead]why the hell would he have someone he killed locked up in a green tank
|
He did it to show what would happen if anyone opposed him. It's a non-verbal threat to those who work under his authority not to undermine him, or this will happen to you. Hense the words in game: "How do you like my trophy? This is what happens to those who usurp my authority...".
