Reasons, proof and credibility aside, it just seems that almost everyone who claims to play for exodus just posts here to whine about some cheater or some ban or some forum permissions or something.
I used to play on that server; even if it was only for like 1 or 2 months. I thought the server was nice. But they just take everything so seriously and whine about everything. It really turned me away from playing there.

What? The only time i've ever posted remotely seriously was my original post what started this thread. That's because Azazel is this huge moron who used to bash Exodus for banning him, we were proven right.
He personally insulted me and Flamin over our running of the RGCT2 and allegations over a certain player.(who was proven innocent btw)
He's acted like this religious anti-cheating zealot when he was cheating himself.
Most people in Exodus, Jelly and other communities have laughed at how this village idiot got caught. I merely posted it here so people who weren't members of those communities would see it aswell.
I'm so sorry if funny things like that seem so serious to you =/

IP & serials matched from what I was shown lastnight. Not to mention he was removed by his own mod team over it. So that's enough credibility even without the ip/serial.

Yes, I do use other colors. In fact, I just changed from blue. I had been using blue for many months before I switched to Crimson like last week. I think it's easier to read than blue. Default is boring... and it doesn't match my avatar.
Also, me whining about them whining doesn't change the fact that they are whining.
Also also, I didn't mean it as an insult to anyone specific, such as the thread starter. I was just trying to point something out. It wasn't my intention to say that the people from exodus are whiners; I was saying that most of the time when an exodus community member decides to post here, it has some sort of drama attached to it.

I don't quiet understand it but from having played this game for the past couple of years, I feel that something about being good at sniping really appeals to some players. Thing is there are relatively few genuine players who are good at doing this leaving a lot of wannabees wanting to be in their shoes right away. Reason? There's definitely some self satisfying ego/respect they seem to out of it [the cheaters I mean].
There are so many people cheating today using these methods. The new ones who cheat get caught fast since they make it obvious while the smart ones know when to cheat and when not to...and the honest players get the receiving end of these folks and have to wait for incidents like these and similar to what happened to masterb8s (lmfao) to get justice.

Oh this is good. I was waiting for his excuse; and I honestly thought he could do better than that. Considering the guy was given administrator status of TMX / Forums and Mod at NS; that isn't enough to not cheat?
I guess all there is to do now is to make him eat his words.

If you decide to give a formal apology and then help with the TT software (answering questions and what not) then that's a step in the right direction. It doesn't repair all the damage you've done to our community over the years tho. Banning you would be an even greater step in the right direction, I'd love RF to have a policy to ban cheaters...I know its crazy right?

I strongly agree with Spoony on the point that if we did ban him then it'd show that we actually do care and are setting an example that we hate all cheaters..
To respond to Blazer's posts in the older thread: Why the hell would u want his help with anything, TT wouldn't even be needed if faggots like 0x90 wasn't making cheats.
I understand that Crimson has spent a hell of alot on Renegade and she clearly does care about the community, but I fail to see how having 0x90 on the forums is in any way beneficial, so what if he helped with a few RG problems. We wouldn't even need to use RG if faggots like him didn't create cheats for the game we love so much..*sighs*

You have to understand that there is a big gap between honest players and cheaters.
From an honest player's point of view, cheaters want an advantage over everyone else so it's easier for them to win or do better at what they are doing. And in some cases, this might be true.
However, what most cheaters want isn't stats or advantages or something that places them above everyone else. What most cheaters want is to laugh at the people who are being victimized and insulting them through the internet. It's funny to them when they shoot you through a wall and you start throwing insults at them. Everything you say, they get a kick out of and then they keep cheating.
Unfortunately, since you really can't tell what type of cheater you're dealing with, it's hard to say what specific action you should take.
If it's a cheater who is cheating to win, then swift moderation action is the only way to fix that. However, if it's a cheater who is looking for kicks from his victims, then the best way to deal with them, other than banning them, would be to ignore them. If you don't give them a reason to laugh at you, they will eventually get bored of getting no reactions and leave the game. They wont turn the cheats off and start playing fairly, they will just leave. Chances are, if they are using cheats for kicks, then playing the game fairly has lost it's fun for them.
