Not to be a pest, but how do you keep the game from crashing? I can buy it once, but if i try to buy it again, the game crashes and sends me back to desktop.

Make sure you don't have any mods running, or installed anything that modified character files in any way (not skin files, because that only changes what the character looks like, not the file in particular). That could be whats causing the disagreement with the charater purchases.
