So after some discussion with my grandparents about why NOT
to get Wireless Internet they decide to get it anyway... now the
internet keeps having moments where it will not load a page and
they are happening just about every 20 minutes or every time i
visit a new site... is this normal?

Depends on what type of wireless internet... are you talking about a 3G modem connection or a wired broadband connection with a WiFi router attached to the broadband line?

If it's WiFi then no, that's certainly not normal, I have been using WiFi at my house for 8 years and have never had connection problems.

That actually sounds like what happens when you go with TalkTalk and the solution is to run:
ipconfig /flushdns

or to restart your router/modem.

(Or when they phone up asking about your service, go on a three minute rant. Then they hang up and two days later customer support phone asking if anything's wrong...)
