Renegade works fine with Windows 7, however when i install scripts v344, the game says you need to update Directx bla bla bla and i have Directx 11, what's the problem?

I remember reading something like this before and it was something about the DX9 it needs is older in the retail release of Win7. Cant remember the fix though.

Do you have a directX 11 gfx card and any games that uses 11? If not, you could use 10 instead. 
edit: nvm  forums are very slow for me today and didnt show the latest replies when I wrote my answer.
