I recently formatted my HD. Didn't change my hardware config at all except for a new monitor and new HD.
Installed Renegade, now when I connect to WOL, and try to join a game, I get the "Joining Channel" dialog, which just sticks there, never passing that point. If I click "cancel" and try to join another game, it immediately says "unable to join channel."
I've uninstalled/reinstalled Renegade and WOL several times, even to different directories to try to get around this problem and it still persists.
Anybody run into this before or have a fix?

Not sure WHY this fixed it, but here's the workaround I finally found...
I installed the FDS, and pointed HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Westwood\WOLAPI\InstallPath to C:\Westwood\RenegadeFDS\Internet\wolapi.dll
Apparently Renegade was using the wrong version of WOLAPI for some reason, or it wasn't properly updated, something like that. I dunno. But that solved it.
