Renegade obviously but there are some specific things I look for in an FPS before buying it.
Nowadays, these are the main things I look for in an FPS before I buy:
-outdoor environments included (not just indoor maps)
-lots of vehicles to drive (flying vehicles a bonus)
-No bullshit 2 weapon carry-limit
-older graphics preferred, I like chars/vehicles/weapons to be low poly models w/good textures. Games like Red Faction look really really really good with this. Ren as well.
-Multiple factions
-Good weapon firing animations/explosions; this is my only graphics related requirement though I don't make a big deal about it if the game lacks it.
I usually look for older titles to buy using my above criteria. All those make for me a good FPS.
