I just brought a new PC a few days back:

AMD Athlon 2600+ Processor
512Mb RAM
80Gb Hard drive
DVD ROM & DVD RW
15" TFT Monitor
NVIDIA Geforce4 MX Graphics Card

Welll my problem is when there is a game of Ren that actuallly doesnt end early due to destruction (i.e. it goes the whole 30 minutes) my PC just packs up and restarts ebfore the end.

Now no other game does this it is just Renegade Sad.

Does anyone know anything about this?

On a side note I am also runnning a TeamSpeak server while I play.

Hmmmmm could it be overheating...But then again you would be getting a warning if that happened Confused

Don't think it would be overheating in sunny ol' England after just around 40mins of play.

I got the side of my case off because my PC was overheating in the very hot weather here 3 weeks ago, just haven't been bothered to put it back on. Try taking the side of your cas eoff and running it in Renegade for a bit, it will tell you if you need some more cooling. I have Thermaltake volcano 11+ now which is made from solid copper and weighs a ton but it keeps the CPU nice and chilly.

Do you mean overheat? This should not happen, if it is VERY HOT, then tidy the wires in your case and make sure you have good airflow in your case. If it still very hot and you notice lost files, poor performance or other weird things then you can buy a hard drive cooler.
