I got the side of my case off because my PC was overheating in the very hot weather here 3 weeks ago, just haven't been bothered to put it back on. Try taking the side of your cas eoff and running it in Renegade for a bit, it will tell you if you need some more cooling. I have Thermaltake volcano 11+ now which is made from solid copper and weighs a ton but it keeps the CPU nice and chilly.

Do you mean overheat? This should not happen, if it is VERY HOT, then tidy the wires in your case and make sure you have good airflow in your case. If it still very hot and you notice lost files, poor performance or other weird things then you can buy a hard drive cooler.
