Cant connect to WOL [message #401318]

i was playing yesterday just fine, the next day i played renegade cant connect to WOL wtf? I've tried several times and it says "cant connect to servers ,cant connect to WOL",
My Firewall is off and i have Internet...of course lol, why is this happening?

By the way i have recently installed Scripts 3.4.4 does this haves something to do with it?

I managed to do something with the XWISC.exe now it says

"connecting to Westwood Online, requesting server list"

"Login failed, operation timed out"

Open C:\windows\system32\hosts in notepad, and remove anything pertaining to XWIS.

(It might be in C:\windows\hosts, and Vista will require admin mode)

sorry for my miss understanding but, the file "hosts" where is it? im using vista and tried finding it in where you said but there's nothing called hosts......

EDIT: i find something called "HOSTNAME.EXE" ...does it haves something to do with it?
