hey guys
i was messing with xwis a couple of days ago, creating new nicks, and then my main nick stopped working
XWIS's message is a 'nick error' and wont show me a server list. I have gone to the xwis site and deleted my nick and some others to ensure im well below the 9 name cap, however its been a few days will not work.
ive written my name in the box and clicked delete account, however when i type the same name i get an invalid pass error when i try to create a new password. i then try with my old password and get the message deleted nick error
anyone know how to fix this so i can play on my original name

Yes that was the sticky i first looked at
I used the program to reset my passwords, however the nick i wanted to use was not listed there in the box
i took that to mean it was deleted, however when i typed that name into xwis with a new password, i get an invalid password error

After a nick gets deleted, it's gone forever. You cannot register it again.

hmm i was afraid of that
seems weird tho, i mean once its been deleted, why couldnt somebody just create the same name... i dont really understand why that has to be

i dont mind about any stats or whatnot connected with my nick, its just that i like playing under it. so i dont want it undeleted i just want to be able to recreate it
Goztow - this appears to be the problem, contrary to what you said sumone (including me) cannot seem to recreate my nickname..
