I'm not sure if it's up to date, tbh. Many clans come, put their name in, and go just as quickly but never delete their name Razz

lol all these "clans" never even play competitive games together... they just like to put a tage behind their name to look cool or something ;/

as far as i know clans were invented to get a group of people together to play competitive games, but what do i know

I printed out a copy of that page a while ago, I scanned the the pages and converted them into a pdf, if anyone wants to put it all back manually go ahead: http://lone0001.genesisblog.net/downloads/RenWikiClans.pdf (Right click and press "save as")

PS. SB(SilverBullet) can be removed from that page, it's been dead for a year now.

Glad someone decided to record the list! =)

But yeah, from what I can tell, a lot of those clans are now unfortuantly dead or inactive. In fact, even some of the weblinks no longer work.

Tbh I think you should just forget about restoring the list and start fresh, that would be the easiest way to get rid of all the dead and inactive clans.

I restored the section. But it's all outdated anyway so someonce can go in and cleanup these dead clans.

What other clans are still active besides the ones I listed above?

It's not because your definition of a clan includes competitive gameplay on a large scale, that everyone's definition includes this. If you have a look in dictionaries, you'll see that the term clan is much wider than this. It rather refers to a "tribe".

It is correct to not assume 'clans' in Renegade are only specific to 'competitive' clans. I would like to add that [MC] Clan (Fullname [Mission Coop] Clan), is an active clan of sorts that play specifically on Coop Servers, and also share stories and thoughts via our clan forums on the Renz0r-Gaming domain.

Some of our players do play competitively on other servers, but they decided to join [MC] Clan because they strongly enjoy the fun gameplay and unique atmosphere Coop has over competitive servers.

For us, the definition of 'clan' applies more to a 'tribe-like' aspect, yet by every right there is no reason there cannot be clans based purely on non-competitive means.

I hope we can be added to the list of clans. Let me know if there are problems or issues with adding our clan to the wiki.
