Hey guys.
I'm not sure if this is a unique problem, but I recently got Microsoft's Windows 7 release candidate, and ever since then, whenever I connect to a server online, all of my Renegade graphic settings are reset to medium, and resolution to 800x600.
Anyone know what's up?

Run it as admin? I had that same issue on Vista, except it was the controls.

I would personally avoid the registry in case of wanting to create something that was portable, nothing wrong with config files, anyways.

Applications made before Vista, yeah.

Microsoft has been urging people to store stuff in HKCU since before Windows 2000. Developers weren't listening, hence why things have been breaking when Vista finally started following the rules they established a long time before...
