Hi

i have a problem with my 2 FDS. Both Server are set for LAN and one is running on a physical and one on a virtual machine (both 2003 Servers). The virtual machine is hosted on this physical machine.

My problem is that both machines are name TTC-SERVE in the the Host Name and so only one is shown in the Servers list.

Where can i change the Host Name? Both FDS are setted up new with different serials. I found nothing in the servers.ini and svrcfg_cnc.ini.

I hope you can help me.

regards

riedochs

PS: Sorry for my englisch, it is not my native language.

Ok, i try it.

Both Servers have different serial numbers and user names.
With Hostname i mean this row which for example Jelly has a00

The Machines named TTC1 and TTC2. How the Server creates his Hostname?

When in LAN mode the FDS uses the local computer name, afaik you cant change this, so changing the computer name is the only real option

If we had to ban all who ever cheated or ever created a cheat (obj3cts and such) then I don't think there would be many members left here (sad fact).
