Hello all. Need a bit of help to get the game working. Having less success with renegade than the other C&C games. I have loaded an original copy that I found in my box of video games. It loads ok, no problems starting it up and watching the starting animation. I can log in to and connect to the internet game play. Or single player games will load with no problem. But about one or two minutes into any game play it crashes and freezes and in some cases I can't even get use CTRL+ALT+DEL to get back to the desktop. I got the Blue screen once but it flash by to fast for me to read it. I am running this game on my older laptop that I use for most of my older games.
Specs
Pentium M 1.86GHZ
Ram 1GB
Video card 915GM 128MB
Any Idea or help would be welcomed.

Nope not an over heating problem. No other game does this, MOHAA doesn't have this problem. All drivers are up to date. However I believe that it has to do with my sound card/driver. I believe that I have solved this problem by using the Renegade configuring setup and set the sound to 22hz instead of the 44hz. So far so good. Just need to try the online and see if that works but so far single player is working got through tutorial and the first level with out a problem.
