Yea it is suppoesed to work but it just hangs at random times and just doesn't go forth.

When it was downloading it went ~450 kb/ps which is good Razz
But i had to restart the DLM every time over and over so torrent was better and im downloading exactly the same one at the same speed so whateverrrrr Razz Big Ups

I am going to download it once I get home from work... wish it had been ready for downloading before I left this morning so I could have left it running. Oh well, it's only going in a VM anyway, can't wait for the RTM release so I can get my copy from MSDNAA and replace Vista.

I'm just annoyed that you cannot upgrade these to retail versions of Windows 7. I am more than likely going to have to reformat soon and it just seems like a waste of time installing XP again Sad.

2 Questions:

1)You guys think I should install it on a VM or the empty space on my hardrive? (since I wanna be able to experience the speed difference and such)-

2)If I do install it on my pc empty space, how is the installing style once you put it in? by that do you get to choose where to install it, since I dont want to format my whole damn harddrive and install it over my vista and ubuntu partitions

Just make a 16GB partition, that's enough for Windows 7(32 bit, 64 bit requires at least 20GB)

I made 20, anyways does it give you an option to install on the empry space or a blank partition? (just want to be sure before I put it in the cd tray and restart my pc)

It gives you the option to pick a partition/drive to install it on.

That release was a pile of shit compared to the new RP2.

Anyway, I'm a little annoyed that I'll have to format to upgrade from the Windows 7 beta, but whatever. I'll do it eventually. The beta was great, but had a few problems that I hope are fixed in the RC.

Yeah, this is why I install it in a VM. I was hoping the RC would be upgradable to the final release so I could start using it as my main desktop OS, but unfortunatly this is not the case, so I will stick with my VM for the time being. Once it goes RTM I will reformat and install it as my desktop OS.
