i heard something about extra missions for the original c&c... how would i get those?

i searched for it and got this: Bonus Missions
In MS-DOS mode, go to the directory you installed Command & Conquer in and type "c&c funpark". When the game begins, select START NEW GAME and choose either side for five new missions.

but i have no idea what that means...

I know that it took me ages to get it to work... I think I ended up using the DOS prompt, but I you might be able to use a command line thingy in a shortcut. Hopefully someone who knows what they're talking about will reply though.

yeah. i tried using the ms dos prompt and entered the directory and all, but it didn't work... Confused

This only works with the Covert Operations installed.

For those of you running Windows 95-00, go to the MS-DOS prompt. For those of us not living in the past millenium, in XP go Start > Run > cmd.

Navigate to the C&C95 directory via "cd directory," "dir," and "cd.."

If you can't figure it out, then go buy a DOS manual, you n00bs.

Once navigated to the C&C 95 directory, usually C:\Westwood\C&C95\, run the executable by typing "C&C95.exe funpark" without the quotes. When you're in the game, just start a new one, and it will automatically load to Kane polishing his gun.

Or for those not DOS-inclined:

find your C&C directory in Explorer. Right-click on C&C95.exe and choose "create shortcut". Call it whatever you want. Right-click on the new shortcut, and choose "properties"
In the "target" box, after the quotes, type "funpark" (without the quotes).

Start the dino missions by running your new shortcut.

I tried that before and it was missing the Dino's, In other words, There was no unit. Nothing. Confused

Good luck. I got world wide warfare a few years ago which had c&c 95 and red alert plus all the expansions. I got the c&c on the classic line when the nod disk broke. It had covert ops with it. The methods posted about editing the command line will work, covert ops has also got some very interesting missions included with it.

These are some of the features:

EA still supports the making of game channels for this game via WCHAT included with c&c 95. What I would say is when installing covert ops make sure you change the default install directory (as it also works for the dos version of the game). For some reason when installing you have to use the # key instead of the / key when changing this. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
