"Your installed version of Westwood Online is incompatible with this product.
Please reinstall the Westwood Online component."

Yes, I know fixable by installing the APB fds,

my question is I always get this message when I install the TFD renegade and by mistake my stupid ass installed the 1.037 (srry if its wrong numbers) update, well I dont wanna reinstall it took me for ever to add everything I put into

so

1)is that what caused it?
2)is the APB fds wol components good? or are they might older version then the ones used for renegade that installs with them?

3) if anyone please can zip up there wol components folder with the dlls and any other files and upload them here and tell me where to place them...

There's a fast and easy way to reinstall just the internet component without having to reinstall the entire thing.

Go into the command & conquer first decade files and delete the internet folder, then start the first decade and click add/remove (in the bottom right corner)

Then choose repair and go through with it, it should reinstall the folder to what it was before.

download the apb server thingy and then install on internet components to renegade folder.

I'll see if I can find the topic.

edit :

Download this: http://game-maps.net/index.php?action=file&id=523

and when you start it just check "WOLAPI" and that should fix it.

I meant to tell you where to put it, anyways just add that folder named as internet to your C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer The First Decade or your C:\WestWood "Dir" and away ya go.

You say you messed up SSnipe, installing the TFD patch...
so what should you have done instead? because I don't mind uninstalling and reinstalling my TFD.
