I don't think that's why everybody doubted her so much. It certainly was a part of it, but how she acted with her quirky gestures and (what was thought to be) illusions of grandeur was what really put the thought of William Hung in my mind. Amazingly, she has proven to be every bit as talented as the singers she wants to be on the same level as.
