I'm starting to think maybe it isn't so bad being relatively new to using the renegade public forums. Because if I joined when I started this game, I would remember who all these stupid people everyone talks about are lol.

I thought it would have been fun to be around when Renegade was first released, I don't remember what year it was but I was playing RA2 around the time it was released probably but had no knowledge(other than seeing it on the back of my CD case lol) or interest in it then.

Pretty much all of it was true. ACK used to be a self-important douche who was much to eager to put down and make fun of the work of new modders, while boasting about his own (sub-par) mapping abilities. Eventually, he ended up as a laughing stock because of some drama at the APB forums and left.

There's a lot that isn't mentioned on that page. You just had to be around for the 'mod wars' to fully know Aircraftkiller.
