Ya another tech question, this ones got me stomped even after looking into it

I think the problem is I updated my sound card
right now with new update it is

Realtek high Definition Audio Driver R2.19 (or as device manager says High Definition Audio Device Version 6.0.6000.16386)

before update was pretty much same thing except version 5.x

but now I plug in the head phones..and nothing..no sound comes out of head phones and sound still comes out of pc speakers...oddly enough I click on the "test" selection as this ss

I hear sound from my head phones in both sides...so pretty much plug it in and does not detect it and sound still comes out speaker of pc as if theres no head phones even tho the test selection still plays sound out of my head phones and thats the only sound that comes out

I have windows vista home premium and I tryed to roll back driver and nothing

Try setting the headphones as the "default device".
