explorer.exe not running. [message #375759]

ok i have a small problem when i start up my computer (windows vista] and on the desktop it doesnt show it. the documents folder just pops up and thats how i got on here.everything else is just black. all i see is that opened folder.

First off you got the wrong forum , secondly If i were you I'd go to an official windows forum, you'd have more luck there. Also I'd try restoring your computer to an earlier time and see if that helps.

it your elxpoler.exe dosent work u might have a virus or your windows is messed up.

Probably a virus and/or spyware. Once you're at this much of a mess, it's usually better to reinstall Windows.

nvm problem solved thanks to pawkyfox. it was simple all i did was press ctrl-alt-delete and click run task manager. thank you pawkyfox for helping me.

I have a great idea. Forget internet explorer! Download Google Chrome. It is a million times faster, and doesn't take so much time to start up. I use it, and I love it. As for your problem in the first place, I have no clue. Maybe a missing file?
