Colonel
I have HP photosmart 7350 printer.
When I installed the drivers on my computer, everything worked fine.
Eventually, my computer would come out of the hibernation on its own, and it would not go back to hibernation for a long time, and not even screen saver would start.
Now, every once in a while, I get a message:
"The device driver for the '1284.4 compatible printer is preventing the machine from entering hibernation. Please close all applications and try again. If the problem persists, you may need to update this driver"
I searched google, even yahoo, but I just could not find anything that would help me.
Reinstalling the hp drivers does not work, and I do have the latest drivers, removing that device in device manager does not help either as it just gets installed again on its own.
I have installed several programs that repair registry problems, but that still did not help.
I don't want to reformat because of such small problem.

My computer is a Compaq.
