It's interesting the age of the woman is mentioned, since there is an argument that 'virgin' is simply a mistranslation of 'young woman' (in the same vein, the 72 'virgins' promised to Islamic suicide-murderers is thought to be a mistranslation for grapes... which, again, makes a little more sense and is a lot less condescending to Muslim women 'hi girls, if you have sex you aren't going to heaven, and if you stay a virgin all your life you'll go to heaven but only for the comfort and convenience of a man).
If that is the case, then the original prophecy is a lot less remarkable and a lot more plausible. Also, perhaps a Christian can point out where in the Bible Jesus says his mother was a virgin. I asked that question before, no answer yet.
