Hiya all.
Just giving you all a heads up, the new renhelp.net site will hopeful be coming back online sometime later today, but under a other domain name since I don't have access to renhelp.net yet.
The new site will still have all the old tutorials as the old one.
When the new site is online and working, I will annouce the new name later, the new name is just temporary.

Why arn't other significant mods linked there? Or, I'll be outright. BFD made it into the top 100 unreleased, alongside AR, now obviosuly we came nowhere near what they came to, but getting into the top 100 is a pretty big achievement.
(not starting a flame fest).
edit: I also see no login button?

Hmm, we can easy add other mods there too, thank you for suggesting that.
There is no more need to register/login anymore.
I should really explain the new system.
The site is now linked to a forum which is located at MP-Gaming.
When you submit a tutorial, you do it in a forum post like way, once you completed the tutorial and submitted it, staff there will approve it or reject it, if it is approved, the tutorial will now show up in the SITE and the forum, linking it to the forum allows lots of cool stuff, like allowing users to comment and reply about the tutorial.

Also because it'd be a bit of work to code a standalone login system. Thus, by using a forum, you can have the entire site run off the forum's existing login/user system. Not to mention, the forum can be set to "moderate" posts thus the only thing that needed to be done with renhelp was give it a new design/whatnot rather than taking the time to code it from scratch.

The old website was a hell of a lot better.
Point to work on:
- Bring back the "Getting Started" Page
- Bring back the Downloads page with all the original items on it (you may have mixed them with your own downloads but having all of them on one page before was awesome)
- Remove the "Filter" links at the side and put them back at the top
- User Files section should be returned, it was an excellent place to put renegade files for people that don't have their own website.
Most Importantly:
Why are all the video's on YouTube now? The quality looks like shit and before they had them at full resolution so you could actually see what the person is doing. Now it's impossible to see or read the buttons the author uses or the delicate usage of vertexes.
Also, Where are the Renegade Models/Textures? All of those stock models/textures submitted by people to use for maps.

Agreed on what that guy said. The vids do look pretty awful, though why bother having a downloads section if it's run by Game-Maps? >_>
Maybe just a link to the downloads page on game-maps might work.
New design is sexy though

And another suggestion. Make the site to where it doesnt look STRETCHED :@
The stretched look just kills the site's design...
