nah anyone with the brains and brawns who knows how to 'handle a computer'can let this go past them.
For all others, I seriously, believe Linux Ubuntu is the way to go.

I cackle when yet another strain of malware for windows is released. Not only am I immune running Puppy Linux, I've disabled autorun for all devices in windows.
Only last week I had to dis-infect a neighbours USB stick - took 5 minutes to clean and another 20 to write up a neat logfile and explanation of what I've done for him.
Blaster worm hidden quote | Billy Gates, why do you make this possible? Stop making money, and fix your software!

The windows system is so insecure I could write a batch-file to infect the school-computers. Something as simple as the words shutdown -l in a batch file located in someone's startup folder would play havoc, let alone copying itself to C:/documents and settings/*/Startup every time it is run.

My pc and moms are same and cant handle all these software that takes of cpu and mostly these ones with a fancy UI
I use symantec software but not this norton crap that integrates itself into everything on your pc running up the cpu and also with a fancy UI that slows it down
BUT its symantec corporate edition
I know what your thinking but a friend whos a pc tech had it and iv used it for years and it works WONDERS protects everything pretyt much good settings and does not take up memory or cpu and gets job done
only thing that gets by are a few spyware which 1 of my other 12 software gets rid of
mostly adware and spybot and spy blaster

Norton = Slow and incompatible with some applications
Symantex = Detects nearly everything but fails to remove malware
I also hate the fact comodo has a sleek interface rather than just sticking with the windows gui.
Trust me, it doesn't slow your computer down as much as people may say (<2% (normall 1%) of my pentium 4 @ 2.8 ghz clock)

Both Norton/Symantec and Mcafee are garbage IMO.
I like (and use) the free version of AVG.
