I just played in some 20 player game and then pnpn4life comes. He's a sakura. I hopped into my apc and drove over the field and in 3 seconds.. bOOM. apc gone.
I though that there were 4 raveshaws on the field so I get a sniper and get to the field and as soon as i showed my head ( I jumped from behind the rock in front of base entrence) I am headshotted. Hmm i think, ns. Get next sniper and exactly the same happens to me. Then I look at the scores and see that the guy who killed me (pmpn4life) is in front with 10000 points while the number 2 only got about 1000 points. Very strange because he was a sakura for just 5 minutes. Then everybody already started calling him a cheater. So I thought, lets test this. i bought an apc, drove in front of AGT. And told everybody that i was going to test if he was a cheater. While I wrote that I saw pmpn4life putting his ramjet around the corner and shot me... BANG... i lost 300 healht (APC!!!) before I could move my ass a second shot came and my apc blowed to hell.
meanwhile he had a score of 15000 while number 2 was still round 1000.

The badnews is that i think that it wasn't a server related cheat Sad
I dont know which server it was but i was quite professional with all messages and commands (like !mods and !websites) I am 99% sure that EA is not going to do anything about this cheat and if it expands renegade will be death in 1 month :'(

Anyone else spotted this cheat or any other cheats lately?

For those who dont believe me. I dont care. I have an ingame screenie with his extreme score compared to others. thats all.

But I never really bother, I think it's some stealth guys that managed to sneak up behind me and throw c4s on me, or some raveshaws.

i've also had cases where i was an sbh and got headshoted by a pic from halfway across the map. i go again.. instant headshot.

You don't need ingame footage to prove everything. Look at the screenshot, the scores are kind of hard to read, but the guy obviously had a lot more points than everyone else. Granted, it could've been a server full of n00bs and one great guy, or a photoshopped shot, but due to the fact that Crimson said she would "address the issue" later, I think it's more than just some frustrated n00bs.

ok you all have points but I consider myself up on ALL the renegade cheats out there I have tested some of many of them myself. Any such cheat would need to be server side to work and if you do not have the mod on your renegade copy you would get a server mismatch.

Just because crimson says she is going to adddress it doesn't mean it exists. We have all experienced glitches in the game.

FAR from true for some cheats, actually. There are ones that are a bit tricky to master but can be used to see the other end of the map. Plus there are tons of others you don't see.

There are some things you can do to prevent version mismatch and let you unlock a cheat or two. Possibly/probally even more things you can do that will affect gameplay, such as the one mentioned in the first post.

Don't take my word as offical on what cheats exist, but it is possible to edit your presets and still get on a server (but it's practiclly unplayable, depends on what you do).

Not that anyone is going to belive me because I'm not posting proof..... Laughing
