Since last week, I 'updated' (fresh install) my Adobe Photoshop to the latest/newest version possible, Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended. Due the fresh install, I had to download the DDS Import/Export plugin for Photoshop again, so I could open .DDS files (for skinning purposes). I tried the DDS Plugin from C&C Den:
http://www.cncden.com/renegade_skin_tut.shtml
After installing it, my Photoshop could recognize DDS files as a normal format it could use. But when I try to open any DDS (the existing skins I got, or DDS files exported from always.dat) I get this error:
I thought the DDS plugin could be outdated, so I installed the newest DDS plugin from Nvidia's website. But as again, I still kept receiving the error. Even after a restart of the computer, I kept getting the error
Anyone know a solution? (I want to stay with Photoshop, newest version, and don't want to switch GIMP or Paint Shop Pro, as I'm used to Photoshop)

Just tried the plugin here locally, with CS4 Extended x86 under Vista x64 Ultimate. It "sorta" works in that it can load/save DDS files, but it grays out my entire screen for each file loaded/saved.

I said in the post right before yours that they work (partially) for me.
