ok i had ren in before but it was crashing alot so i un-installed it. now when i try to reinstall it i keep getting a error (setup has stopped working)then sometimes i get a (0xc0000006)error. ive never had a issue installing this game. hope one of you can help me.

You'll need to run the setup in admin mode, in Vista.

Something like go to the cd in explorer, right click on setup.exe and choose properties, then in there search for "run as administrator". Sorry, I don't have Vista so it's a bit hard for me to give you exact locations.

Start >> (My) Computer (Depending on your settings, it will look like "My Computer" or "Computer")
Right click on the DVD/CD drive that contains your Renegade disc, choose "Explore"
Find "Setup.Exe" on the disc, and right click on it, choose "Run as Administrator" (If the User Account Control box appears, allow it to continue)
Install Renegade as per the guide at the top of this subforum (here)
