I am sure that it has something to do with either The Registry editor, or the System 32 folder but don't mess with the System 32 folder unless you know what you are doing. I do remember a virus generator that makes your mouse go crazy, and makes some of the your keyboard buttons not work maybe that will do it.

No you can just ask a computer programer that knows C++ to remove the function of those keys and disable them internaly.

... or you could just disable it in the registry like a normal person.
|
Or you can delete the registry like your type of a person.

Buy a keyboard with a switch that disables the windows keys. This technique also usually has the side effect of providing you with an awesome gaming keyboard.

Speaking of the keyboards, I have seen some neat keyboards with the ability to put U.S.B. drives in them, speakers, head phones, head sets, microphones, an L.C.D. display very neat keyboards they even light up in the dark to.

Hey, guess what, I don't need a keyboard with tacky light up keys, hundreds of thousands of extra buttons, USB ports and LCD screens, the standard set of keys works fine!
Light up keys: Useless since I always turn my light on anyway, otherwise I get a headache and eye strain from looking at the monitor in the dark.
'Special buttons': Pointless. My email client opens anyway when I login, and a quick Windows key + E opens My Computer. I can't think what else I might want to do so quickly that I need a special key for it. Exception being volume up / down / mute keys, which do indeed have a use.
USB ports: Guess what, my PC has 10 USB sockets, 6 at the back on the motherboard and 4 on the front. Why the fuck would I want more than this? Heck, I don't even use half of them as it is.
LCD screens: Quite simply the most absurd idea I have ever heard. Why would I look down at my keyboard to see how much ammo or whatever I have when it's on the screen anyway? While I was busy trying to locate the information I want on this tiny little LCD screen someone is going to come along and kill me ingame.
In conclusion, I think that people who spend £80 or so on a keyboard with all sorts of fancy pancy gadgets and crap are plain stupid. My £15 LogiTech keyboard is 7yrs old now and still works perfectly, even after years of heavy use for programming. Not a single key has faded at all, and the only special buttons it has are volume control.
[/rant]
And yes, I know this is sort of off topic, but I am kind of bored and felt like having a rant
EDIT: Fixed a few typos and some questionable grammar.

The most useful feature is the performance monitor. I hardly ever touch the media controls or the timer, but the performance monitor is great. I'm also a rather big fan of illuminated keys and lots of extra programmable buttons, so I'm actually okay with dropping some extra money on a keyboard.

Have you ever seen a keyboard that has the task manager displaying on an L.C.D. moniter on the keyboard and more features.

That is just becayse you don't have one. I challenge you to use one for a few weeks and then stick to that. You will love those light up keys, and be lost with out that LCD screen. Oh, some of those extra keys come in damn handy too.

G15 does that. It also has the stop watch some else mentioned. As well as a billion other things you can get off the net for it. I found a program that lets me use my G15 with Eve Online even!
