Led Zepplin vs. The Who[ 27 votes ]
1. Led Zepplin all the way 17 / 63%
2. The Who owns all 5 / 19%
3. I like the new bands better because both bands lead singers sound like girls 2 / 7%
4. I HATE MUSIC!!! 3 / 11%

Simply put: Who is better?

I like both bands, but I prefer Led Zepplin, just becuase their songs grab me more than The Who's.

Oh, Zeppelin all the way. Robert Plant, John Bonham, John Paul Jones, and Jimmy Page. There's no question. They, along with Sabbath, created hard rock and metal. Not to mention that the tandem of Jimmy Page's guitar and Robert Plant's vocals... there's no comparison.

whoa.

Truth. Led Zep pretty much created awesome. Same with Black Sabbath.

I can't stand either band, but Zep is slightly more tolerable.

I was raised the wrong way. Most people that listen to similar music as me all started with Zep. I started with Van Halen when I was around 10, so that in and of itself should speak volumes.

The Who never appealed to me. and I don't know why. However, Keith Moon is an excellent drummer, and I'd say he is quite a bit better than Bonham, although there are probably 4382190478932 internet threads comparing the two anyway.

What's weirder is that don't care for Zep, but I enjoy the 'Zep-clones' like Great White, and Whitesnake

The Who all the way, mainly because I'm British.

You really don't know what you're talking about most of the time, do you? Led Zeppelin is just as British as The Who.

yeah but The Who boast about it, Plus all their songs are on the CSI intros, and I've never seen Led Zeppelin boast about being jolly 'ol British!

Ninja edit: oh and I'm not really intrested in Led Zepp. so I didn't really know they're British (if they even are, to Wikipedia!)

While I love both bands, I tend to lean more for Zeppelin, with hits such as Stairway to Heaven, Houses of the Holy, and Communication Breakdown, the shear number of great songs makes me feel that they are the better band. The Who on the other hand are great as well, Baby O'Riley, Who Are You, and Won't Get Fooled Again are all great rock anthems.. What a hard decision.
