Sex Has Always Been A Theme In Movies & Games. It All Depends On How Far The Writers/Directors/Marketting Dudes Move That Theme To The Center.
In Red Alert, There Was Stalin & Nadia Doing Something Together. LOL. But OfCourse, That Was Not Used To Sell The Game. But As Time Goes On, Movie/Game Makers Have Pushed The Theme Of Sex More To The Center Of Attention.
However, I Do Agree With You That They Are Focusing Too Much On The Women...Especially In RA3.

It's Even Worse Now Due To Japanese Babes. I Am Looking Forward To RA3 ONLY To Play As Soviets...Nothing Else. Otherwise, The Game Seems Like A Lot Of Fantasy Units Clogged Together. I Do Hope They Make The Storyline Longer.

What magic? There's more talent in 'A Night in Paris' than there is on Red Alert 2's movies.

The movies in Westwood's games sucked too. Just because they pioneered FMVs into C&C, doesn't mean that they were good at it..
As but I'm not complaining about the quality. If you want my personal opinion on it, the FMVs that EA put into the recent C&C games are much better than the FMVs in the old C&Cs for the simple reason that technology to do such things is now available when it wasn't back then.
I don't prefer any FMVs over others through the different games because as long as they get the point across (correctly) and don't screw up the mood of the story, it is perfectly fine. Who plays what part and how they look compared to how they act doesn't concern me unless it is obvious they are not in character or barely acting at all.

That's not what I meant.
RA3 continues the storyline and has some of the same characters from RA2 like Tanya, Einstein and some others. What I am saying is that some actors brought in to fill the roles of these RA universe characters are not fulfilling. Maybe my perception will change as I play through the game but I am not liking the initial scenes I am seeing.
FYI, I like C&C3 movies.
EDIT:
And lets not forget the crapload of female heroines they have brought in for each faction. Why should there be a Soviet heroine rather than some bear-like guy like Boris? Should they feminize everything?
