Alright, folks. I appreciate your help with my last issue, and I am happy to say that Renegade actually worked under Boot Camp.
I refer you to this topic for the already existing circumstances, why things are as they are now:

Okay, with the plan to play this game online, I downloaded the Scripts 3.4.4 installation file, an executable called scripts344.exe, from the RenHelp website, along with all the other game updates (1037 version, no CD patch, etc.). Everything else worked fine in conjunction with Renegade, but when I installed Scripts 3.4.4, I hit a roadblock.
Now, every time I try to start Renegade, I am faced with an error messages that informs me that
"bhs.dll requires Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista to Run"
and provides absolutely no additional information.
Now, with the knowledge that I am indeed running Windows XP (albeit on a separate partition of my hard drive), I am faced with a bit of a conundrum. Can anybody offer a solution to the problem? Or, barring that, an older version of the scripts that would still be moderately compatible with most servers?

Scripts 2.9.2 worked, once I found a place I could download it from. Anyway, I don't see a reason to pursue fixing whatever obscure problem is involved with 3.4.4 if I already have a version that works. Thanks again for the help, fellas.
