Pictures of a fallen warrior are one thing. Honor should be given to those who fell in the line of duty, to those who give their lives to save others or to protect those around them. Saddam's sons have done neither. Why should America honor those who fight with none? Terrorists and their followers don't deserve the same respect given to a solider who died in combat, be they American or Iraqi. That's not the issue. The question is why would you show honor to men accustomed to sowing death and destruction merely for thier own amusement? The Middle East is an area fraught with hostility and open conflict. Our alliance with Isreal is a primary reason for a lot of the anti-America sentiments in the Middle East. Why are we trying to appease a people that can't be appeased? I can recall another instance where appeasement was tried. World War II isn't exactly a shining reminder of how well it works. These two men were cowards and terrorists. They deserved what they got, and an example was made of them. Prove to the world that they are dead, and you lessen the odds of others springing up in their place.
