thanks!!!!!!! hey i got one last unrelated question when i turned "broadcast SSID" to off how can i get a computer to connect to it last time i tryed it says "network (name or w/e) is already a network please select if off available networks list" when i tired to connect to it manual but it was not on the list...if my other pc didn't save the info idk how i would have connected to it

On Vista:
Start > Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center
Click on "Manage Wireless connections" and remove any networks that you no longer want (including the one you're trying to connect to, you have to change it's type...)
Start > Connect To. Windows will state it can't find any wireless networks (because you disabled SSID broadcast) so you have to click on "Setup new connection" or whatever it is at the bottom that lets you make a new connection, from the connection types menu, choose wireless AP / Router (NOT the "Ad hoc" one) and then enter the SSID, Passkey and set the encryption type. Click "Save" or whatever, and then see what happens.

my printer was connected to my network but since my network is WPA2 my printer Manuel says it can only connect WPA-PSK so will it still work?

ok i click enable then ether the mac address of each of my computers on the network?
EDIT: even tho i blocked out the info in the picture is this where id go to get the mac addresss?

one thing that sucks is i had to change my security from WPA2 to WPA-PSK tkip cuase of my printer ;(
