I was wondering if people still play online in Renegade
because i see no servers availible and im wondering if its my
computer or no one plays this game any more... Please reply to
the message if you still play Renegade.

MABYE YOU HAVE TO MAKE A NEW ACCOUNT (just delte the name you have, it will save it, and type in a new one) then change the location of where you are something close but not the same, taht might help

http://renguard.com/ says 1311 unique players have logged into Renguard in the past 24 hours, and as far as I'm concerned most people don't even use Renguard anymore.

I think 500 people playing at a time sounds rational, but it's definitely at least a couple thousand who play on a daily basis.

Don't worry. There are plenty of people still playing Renegade online. Westwood Online may be deceased (that means their server won't work if you try going to it; they stopped hosting games online for Renegade quite a while ago), but Gamespy Arcade still works. Here are the following steps: 1. Make sure you're online (pretty obvious) 2. click on Gamepsy after you choose online multi-player on the Renegade menu 3. download Gamespy Arcade 4. create your login and stuff like that 5. login your account 6. click on "my games" on the sidebar and choose "Renegade". 7. then press multi-player at the top right corner 8. double-click the server you want to go on and you're done! Big Grin

Wow...im pretty sure ive said this like 3-4 times in the past month, player count breakdown:

Online: 700-800 (before the summer jan-may it was 600-700) online at any given point, 500-600 on WOL, 100-200 on GSA.

Total: 10,000-15,000 unquipe players still play C&C Renegade.

Check your renegade data folder. If you have any files named objects.ddb, delete them. That might be why you can't see servers.

What I have noticed tho, is that the bigger servers are getting more players than they usually do meanwhile the smaller servers are seeing less players.

p.s: is the flag system broken? Im pretty sure we dont have t-mobile in canada lol...

Most of the time the MOTD on games are a load of crap and don't say anything useful so most people ignore them. But this guy kinda comes off as a "I will only post once in this forum" kind of guy.

But if you are getting no server listings, you should read that message because it tells you what is wrong.

It will say something like "Failure to connect. Invalid serial" or something similar.
