Fuck you.

APPLE WHORE DETECTED.

Seriously, he's pretty much right. It's all overhyped bullshit that a lot of other phones today can do, cheaper.

The reason Apple is so popular is that Steve Jobs geared his products toward the less computer savvy people in our world. Seriously, one of their ads depicts people proclaiming how retarded they are and how they were so stupid they couldn't navigate a PC- but miraculously, they seem to have been granted amazing skills with Macs from birth. It's stupid as hell.

yeah

Super post! It's right...they taking advantage of those who don't know much about comps. But I seen people do that same to those windows users...

Why would anyone buy something like this when it will be crap and outdated by this time next year? don;t they UNDERSTAND they are getting ripped off?

IT's the same deal with laptops too...GO BUY A DESKTOP! Laptops are for business users who are on the go. It is true super laptops for gaming and other media stuff like movie editing is coming out (Dell XPS laptop) but you can't upgrade it when the technology advances in like 18 months.

But in Desktops, you can upgrade and keep up with the industry. This whole iCrap is a just a waste of money...people getting ripped off bad. UNLESS...they really need the feauteres. You want to browse websites when you are in a train? Sure then by all means go for it! You want to check your e-mail of your office e-mail account? Sure then buy it...but other cheaper phones do the same. VerizonWireless for example...

This apple phone relies too much on hype to get sold...and then in two days, it will be hacked...hackers FTW!

I wonder if any of those people that lined up to buy the damn thing actually know anyone worth calling, besides their mothers.

I happen to like the idea of a touch screen. Plus, I like the fact that it actually has a web browser. I would get Internet on my phone, but the "watered down" Internet is annoying to me.

whoa.

Agreed with most here who think it might be pointless, etc.

Also agreed with those who like it, and have it.

Main reason i got it is because i'm due to be taking a hell of alot of train journeys in the very near future, so i need something to entertain me on these journeys. The ability to play games on this, is quite entertaining, and high res movies is also a huge plus for me.

Granted, the majority of contacts i also have on things like MSN, etc, but it's still nice to have, considering i haven't really had a phone much in the past, so no way to contact anyone. I wasn't really interested in buying any of the other phones, mainly because i don't like the slide out keypads, or the screen res is way to small, or it runs Windows, etc, so the iPhone interested me greatly.

I use my cell-phone for calling, and that's it.

or to SMS. I don't see any other reasons to use a Phone for. But some of my fellow colleagues use the phone to play games, watch movies, agenda, listen music and whatnot.

Besides that some are just gadget freaks and upgrade to a new phone after each half year.

Yeah, Maddox sums up the hype pretty well. Shame he hardly ever updates his site anymore.
