When i go to turn on my computer, nothing shows up on screen, it's just black. The graphics card is getting power but nothing is happening if I hook up the screen to the Graphics card. Any idea whats wrong?

If it works, then the problem is with the graphic card.

Or, the BIOS is set to use the intenal VGA, and that setting needs to be changed to "external" or similar.
