I got a major problem with sniping ... it seems everytime i confront another sniper during battle the person is always moving and jumping and moving sideways and stuff like Really Fast! but when i try it i always get shot and its impossible for me to shoot them and i try moving all kinds of ways but i still cant tell if im moving or jumping right even when im using 3rd person view and uggestions to what i can do to improve my snping? What I do is keep my rifle at head level on first person and just keep moving sideways aiming till either i die, he dies, or my left hand gives out.

the easiest way for me is 3rd person try 1st maybe your good at 1st cuz theres a lot difference on those to and i agree with him....keep moving and crouch randomly

ok, the basics of sniping. Never stand still, croutch, use w,a,s,d keys so u can run and jump at the same time, aim for head, and lastly and most importantly, practice, practice, PRACTICE. every awesome sniper sucked at one time or another but we practiced and yeah yeah yeah u know the story.

i use the arrow keys left and right shif and the middle mouse button (or wheele) push it down to jump.. so i can run and jump still.

evrey peice of advice here sdeems to leave out the posibilty that you have run into an AIMBOT user which is a growing problem! Some times no matter what you try to do to evade a sniper they seem to be a PERFECT head shot every time! Nobody, and I mean NOBODY is good enough to leap to the edge of a cliff for a split second fire a head shot jump back from the edge of the clif, wait a few seconds, then jump forward WITH OUT KNOWING WHERE A TARGET EVEN IS and fire yet another HEAD SHOT! That's NOT sniping IT"S CALLED CHEATING! Same as flying under/off the map, taking advantage of bugs and getting into areas of the map you shouldn't be, runing the cheat mod that makes stealth wariors/tanks visable at all times etc... THIS CRAP IS MAKING THE GAME UNPLAYABLE IN SOME CASES! PLEASE STOP CODING IT!

one. any mods to see SBH and STANK would change the script of the game. so that is out. AIMBOT i wont say there isnt one, but some poeple are proveing me wrong, just some people have skills, deal with it, so some n00bs cry aimbot. its life.. and for the bugs, i know there is some and franky i know of some on fortress.. get off it.. people are cheap and pussies.. its life.. its who we run life, if they cheat, just move to a differ server and dont cry about it.. we get enough of tha already.

ok here are my crap tips
- no scroll no sniper, end of story!
- learn to zoom in vary close vart fast, if u can't do this, click faster, lol (no serious u know that test u do, drop a ruler and see how close to the bottom end u can catch it, that helps alot (real sniper do this as well)
- whwn they stafe this is their weak time, when the stafe, then stafe back when they run out of room (i do it, as well as most players), ie. he moves right the left, during transition, he/she is motionless !bang! !!!
