List your top 5 most hated things of all time!
Rules:
-Can't be or relate to any specific person/persons/group of people. (Also you can't use events to single out a person either... like saying "people who make threads like this.")
-Try not to start a fight with anyone by listing something on your list.
For me:
1. People who use "kid" as an insult.. or use their age as leverage to win an argument. For example: "Shut up you stupid kid, I'm older than you so I'm right."
2. When people start to talk about you and describe things about you when you are sitting right there in front of them. (Like people telling other people what you do and don't like)
3. Giving and receiving thank you cards... they are just a waste of paper. Why waste paper to say thank you in a letter when you can just call the person up and thank them. I actually find it more insulting when someone sends a note rather than calls. :\
4. People outside the United States that hate the United States with no real reason and/or factual evidence explaining why they do so. (They normally make some stupid crap up too. Like "The US sucks cause the president is a dictator!" or crap like that.)
5. The word mature/immature. It just sounds like a weird word when I hear it... I hate using the word and hate hearing the word.

Top 5?
1. Zep Nazi's.
2. EnvironMENTALists.
3. Anyone who wants to impose their religious/social beliefs upon others.
4. People who state their height and weight in game. If they really were a bag of chips and all 'dat, they wouldn't be going around saying it.
5. Anyone over 16 who hasn't done a hard day's worth of manual labour.

I still don't see a reason to invade Iraq, it's funny how Saddam was installed by the U.S. and Reagan administration even supported Saddam with weapons.

1. "If you're not with us, you're against us." ...which neatly ignores anybody who doesn't necessarily agree with either side, or who can see it both ways. Or who have minds of their own at all.
2. "If you're innocent, then you have nothing to hide." ...which disregards the basic principle of innocent until proven guilty.
3. Gun control. ...because when you make it a crime to be armed, only criminals will be.
4. Telephones. ...mostly because I'm a dyslexic fuck and avoid any form of communication that can't be edited before I've dumb something said.
5. "Too long, didn't read." ...encouraging illiteracy on the Internet and beyond since the dawn of the information age. Remember, kids: only losers read.
Can we make it 10 next time?
"Arms discourage and keep the invader and plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property. Horrid mischief would ensue were (the law-abiding) deprived of the use of them." - Thomas Paine
Remember, kids: illiteracy is cool. If you took the time to read this, you are clearly a loser who will never get laid. You've been warned.

1). The sun (not the newspaper, the huge glowing thing in the sky).
2). Hayfever x_x
3). Local gangs (I know it breaks a rule, but they kill small kids, I mean, c'mon!).
4). That, god, damn, Windows, Update, popup! I thought I turned you off?!
5). People who don't like others due to having a different lifestyle, or just because they don't understand others way of life. Yes, I'm talking to you, furry haters!

1. Bleeding-heart liberals. If you care so much about the poor, then you do something about it, and stop dragging everybody else into it. It's MY money, asshole.
2. Neo-cons. You moral high-horsers can fuck off, and pre-emptive wars are NOT just wars, you idiot.
3. Politicians. Stop pandering to the idiots that voted you in and actually follow the document you swore to protect. Don't take my guns, don't take my speech, don't take my privacy, and don't take my money.
4. Utilitarianism. Yeah... as if that's a realistic moral principle. Let's all NOT take care of ourselves because somehow being completely altruistic makes sense... or not.
5. "Victims" of prejudice. As long as your rights aren't being taken away, you have no reason to act as if you're a victim. If I don't like you or your lifestyle, oh well.
whoa.

Umm, that's not Utilitarianism... its very easy NOT to be altruistic in a Utilitarian society.
Example: Assume that it is for the betterment of society that people do not get sick. Therefore we must remove anyone who does get sick to avoid getting other people sick. Therefore removing people who by whatever means necessary to prevent others from getting sick is the morally correct thing to do. This would include killing, segregation, burning.
Not only that doing whatever is possible to discover a cure for these illnesses is also the morally right thing to do. Including usually unethical medical practices.
|
Yes, I know. "Maximize benefit, minimize harm." Still, the idea is altruistic in nature. You can't value your life above anybody else, and you can't even value your friends and family over that of a dog, cat, or cow.
whoa.

1. The stupid people who will eventually bring about the downfall of the world by insisting that their specific view of something is the absolute final answer, using violence to enforce their point.
2. Political correctness.
3. Priests who touch little boys. (Nope, wasn't molested as a kid, but if there's a king of all hyprocrits, these priests are #1, therefore by pointing out the top hypocrit, I'm basically hating on all extreme hypocracy.)
4. Betrayal.
5. Anything in politics, be it laws or people, which exists that either wastes more time than creates (dumb people like Al Gore who win the Nobel prize for making a dumb global warming video), create more problems than solve (anti-marijuana laws), or overall do more harm to the human population than good (lobbyists trying to influence the gov't to do things like control guns for "increased safety" or keep cigarettes legal to boost the economy).
I'm surprised no one has put EA on their list yet.

Althought Al Gore has political agenda on his global warming video, it's still relatively true. You can't deny we didn't cause global warming.
